⛩ Zabuza Momochi , also nicknamed the Demon of the Mist , was a rogue ninja who was part of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist of Kiri.
Zabuza was born and raised in the hidden village of Kiri, at a time when it was nicknamed the "Bloody Mist Village" due to the violence that reigned there.
The country was then plagued by internal conflicts and the Mizukage in power ( Yagura ) imposed very harsh conditions to obtain the title of ninja. Thus the exam to become Genin consisted of making two aspiring ninjas who had trained together fight each other and selecting which one of the two would survive this fratricidal struggle.
The year Zabuza took his exam, he massacred all the aspiring ninjas in contention, which earned him the nickname " Demon of Kiri no kuni ". Because of this tragedy, the authorities of Kiri reformed the procedures.
As a former high-ranking ninja of Kiri, Zabuza was a very powerful fighter. Vicious in combat, his talent for fighting was perceived even at his youngest age, when he had not yet started the Academy, he killed over a hundred students on his own.
