⛩ Guts known as " The Black Swordsman " , is a former mercenary and notable vagrant who travels the world in a constant internal struggle between pursuing his own ends and maintaining his attachments to those he holds dear.
Regarding his equipment, Guts fights with a gigantic sword called the Dragonslayer , or the dragon slayer. It was forged by Godo, the legendary blacksmith who created this weapon for an ancient king wishing to defeat a dragon. But the blade was so immense that no warrior in the kingdom was able to wield it.
Later, Flora gives him the Berserker armor, which belonged to the Skullknight . If this armor allows Guts to exceed human limits by no longer feeling fatigue, it is also very dangerous. It inflicts immense pain on its wearer and makes him lose his mind.
