⛩ Guts known as " The Black Swordsman " , is a former mercenary and vagabond of renown who travels the world in a constant internal struggle between the pursuit of his own ends and maintaining his attachments to those dear to him.
Regarding his equipment, Guts fights with a gigantic sword called the Dragonslayer , or the dragon slayer. It was forged by Godo, a legendary blacksmith who created this weapon for an ancient king wishing to defeat a dragon. But the blade was so immense that no warrior in the kingdom was able to wield it.
Later, Flora gives him the armor of Berserker , which belonged to the Skullknight . While this armor allows Guts to exceed human limits by no longer feeling fatigue, it is also very dangerous. It inflicts immense pain on its wearer and causes him to lose his mind.
