⛩ Son Gohan or Sangohan in French versions, is one of the main protagonists of the Dragon Ball manga and its Dragon Ball Z anime adaptation. He later returns as a secondary protagonist in Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball GT.

The eldest son of Son Goku and Chichi , his power potential far surpasses that of his father and he will fight alongside the protagonists from a young age. A major asset to the team that notably defeated Cell , he ceases serious training after 7 years of peace and gradually fades away, focusing on his scientific work and family life with his wife and daughter. However, he remains present during major battles such as the threat of Majin Buu or the Tournament of Power.

The Super Saiyan 2 is much more powerful than the Super Saiyan alone, but causes extraordinary aggression. Like the Super Saiyan 3, 4 and God transformations, this transformation alters the personality of the one who transforms. The user becomes calm and composed, but remains no less brutal and violent, to the point that even Son Gohan , who abhors violence, takes pleasure in seeing his enemies suffer, which caused the loss of Son Goku .
