⛩ The Scout Regiment is one of three Army Corps that make up the Paradis Army, along with the Garrison and the Special Brigades.
As its name suggests, it is a section specialized in investigations, patrols, and external expeditions outside the Walls regarding Titans, their origins, and studying the possibilities of their extermination. It is therefore considered a suicidal unit since human beings are supposed to be "powerless" against Titans.
Since the Fall of Shiganshina, the Scout Regiment's objective has been to restore to humanity the freedom it once lost during the invasion of the Titans and the destruction of Wall Maria.
This is precisely why their emblem represents two wings, called the "wings of freedom". Following the revelation in Eren's basement, the Scout Regiment has turned its attention to the outside world and more specifically to the Marleyan people.
