⛩ Kanao Tsuyuri is a major secondary character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps, the Tsuguko (Pillar Apprentice) of Shinobu Kocho and the adoptive sister of Shinobu and Kanae Kocho .
While being taken as a slave, tied around the waist by a rope held by her buyer, the Kocho sisters after confirming she was a slave, rescued her and brought her to the butterfly estate. From that day on they became sisters and Kanao dedicated her life to her new family.
Like most Demon Slayers, Kanao possesses a standard sun sword. Her katana is light pink in color, complementing her breathing style, Flower Breathing. Its handle is circular in shape with a light pastel blue center and border, filled with 3 red five-petal flowers and a light green wavy pattern.
