⛩ Aki Hayakawa is a Devil Hunter for Public Safety, and member of the fourth special Anti-Demon section of Tokyo. He made a contract with the Curse Demon and the Future Demon , as well as a former contract with the Fox Demon .

Aki generally appears as a very stoic person. He comes across as mature and dependable when he is with his fellow Devil Hunters, but he is actually very gentle when he is alone. He tends to attach easily to others and hates seeing people suffer, especially his close friends.

Unlike many of his associates, Himeno describes him as being a "normal person", in the sense that he still grieves those who have been lost and hasn't become jaded enough to shut off his feelings. Despite this, he is very determined and his primary motivation for killing the Gun Demon is revenge for his family. However, he is quite willing to risk his own life to save other people, despite his own fear of death and even at the risk of his ultimate goal.
