⛩ Kenpachi Zaraki is the 11th captain of the Gotei 13. During his past as a criminal before his career as a Shinigami where he lived in the 80th North District of Rukongai,Zaraki, he met a young girl with pink hair from Kusajishi, the 79th North District, and decided to name herYachiru because of the woman he admires and respects above all else.Yachiru will become his faithful partner throughout the story, eventually becoming his Vice-Captain once he became Captain.

During his childhood, he was already an exceptional swordsman and slaughtered all life until his meeting with the 1st Captain of the 11th Division and simultaneously the first Kenpachi,Yachiru Unohana. Having matched her, he sets himself the goal of surpassing her. After defeatingKenpachi Kiganjô, he becomes the Eleventh Shinigami to hold this title of exceptional fighter.
