⛩ Gogeta was born from the Metamol fusion between Son Goku and Vegeta. The film is based on one of Piccolo's famous lines from volume 40, which mentions that during his lifetime, Vegeta would have refused to fuse with Son Goku because of the dance that had to be performed.

During the screening of Film 12, the manga was releasing chapters on Vegetto, the fusion born from the Potaras, which caused two versions of the character to appear simultaneously.

Unlike Vegetto, who has a relatively longer screen time than Gogeta, the personality of Gogeta establishes the desire to finish very quickly with Janemba. His movements are unpredictable and beautifully choreographed by director Yamauchi.

This character, although original to the film and not in the manga, became very famous among fans, and the film is thus held in high esteem because of it.
