⛩ Dracule Mihawk , known by the nickname "Hawk Eye" (Taka no Me), was the first Pirate Captain to appear. He remained Pirate Captain until the group's dissolution. He then joined the Cross Guild, with Crocodile and Emperor Baggy .

He holds the title of "World's Greatest Swordsman" and was the trainer of Zoro Roronoa during the 2-year time skip. He was previously known as "Soldier Hunter".

He is also the third antagonist of the Baratie arc after Don Krieg and Gin , and one of the main antagonists of the Marineford arc where he participated in the Battle of Marineford and sided with the Marines, along with most of the other Shichibukai .
