⛩ Kuzan , better known by the name Aokiji was one of the Three original Admirals of the Navy. He was previously a Vice-Admiral during the Buster Call of Ohara during which he saved Nico Robin . He is commonly called Aokiji "The Blue Pheasant".

He was a candidate for the position of Fleet Admiral, but following his defeat against Admiral Akainu at Punk Hazard who also coveted the position, he left the Navy.

After the timeskip, he makes his big return at the end of the Punk Hazard Arc by preventing Doflamingo from killing Smoker . Later, we finally learn that he decided to join Blackbeard's crew.
