⛩ Ashura Doji was once the most dangerous criminal in the Kuri region. After his defeat by Kozuki Oden , he became his disciple, thus becoming one of the Nine Red Scabbards who served Oden until the latter's death.

After these events, he became a criminal again under the name Shutenmaru and became the Leader of the Atamayama Bandits . He joins the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance during the Onigashima raid during which he loses his life.

Ashura Doji demonstrated incredible strength in his swordsmanship, capable of confronting Jack , one of the three Calamities of the Beasts crew, and even inflicting a deep wound on his chest. He is agile despite his corpulence as he shows by flying over Jack in the air, and is very fast. He is resilient enough to withstand an injury from Jack .

He has already fought against Kaido himself, when the latter was in dragon form, thus achieving a remarkable feat: having survived.
