⛩ Guts known as the "Black Swordsman" , is a former mercenary and wanderer of distinction who travels the world in a constant internal struggle between pursuing his own ends and maintaining his attachments to those dear to him.
Portrayed as a tall and muscular man, Guts stands 2 meters tall with short, spiky black hair. He is missing his left forearm and right eye due to an encounter with theHand of Godand is covered from head to toe with scars from a life of battles, the most notable being a jagged scar across his nose that he received from a training match with his violent father Gambino.
Also notable is a large horizontal scar across his chest, which he received during his encounter with Slan of the Hand of God in the qliphoth. After receiving the Berserker armor, Guts gets a small streak of white in his hair, probably due to the stress caused by wearing the armor. The tendency of Guts to wear black clothing while hunting theapostles earned him the nickname "The Black Swordsman". Beyond all that, Guts has a brand due to the Eclipse on the right rear side of his neck. This mark attracts demons and evil spirits to him at night.
