⛩ Guts known as the "Black Swordsman" , is a former mercenary and notable wanderer who travels the world in a constant internal struggle between pursuing his own goals and maintaining his bonds with those dear to him.

Depicted as a tall and muscular man, Guts stands 2 meters tall with short, spiky black hair. He is missing his left forearm and right eye due to an encounter with thehand of God. He is also covered from head to toe in scars from a lifetime of battles, the most visible being a jagged scar on his nose that he received from a sparring match with his violent father Gambino.

He also has a large horizontal scar on his chest, which he received during his encounter with Slan of the Hand of God in the qliphoth. After receiving the Berserker armor, Guts receives a small streak of white in his hair, probably due to the stress caused by wearing the armor.

Guts 's tendency to wear black clothing while huntingapostles earned him the nickname "The Black Swordsman". Beyond all that, Guts bears a mark from the Eclipse on the back right side of his neck. This mark attracts demons and evil spirits to him at night.
