⛩ Gotenks is the result of the fusion between Son Goten (second son of Son Goku and Chi-Chi) and Trunks (son of Vegeta and Bulma).
He only has the worst sides of Son Goten and Trunks, making him a selfish, rude, pretentious warrior with enormous confidence in himself. Furthermore, when he transforms, to Piccolo's dismay, his terrible personality is intensified, as are his powers.
Following Gotenks' character, one can assume that he is partly dominated by Trunks, the stronger and older of the two boys. His thoughtless mockery towards Buu and his feeling of invulnerability are undoubtedly reminiscent of Vegeta, Trunks' father.
