⛩ Laboon is a whale (or more precisely an Island Whale) with a size comparable to the monsters of Calm Belt. Native to West Blue, he arrived in this place coming with the Rumbar Crew of which Brook was a part, they had promised to come back for him after sailing around the world but they ultimately all died (with the exception of Brook who was resurrected).
The Straw Hat crew meets Laboon at the beginning of the adventure and Luffy draws a Jolly Roger on his head following a promise.
Laboon is a Type A creature, "Big and Friendly," being both the largest and friendliest creature in the Grand Elements databook.
