⛩ Koro Senseï is the homeroom teacher of class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Middle School. His past is murky, but we later learn that he was once a great assassin who was given the title of "God of Death".
Having always lived in a hyperviolent slum, the young man was eaten away by an immense desire for power and became filled with pride. Betrayed by his disciple (the second and current God of Death), he was imprisoned in a research facility where antimatter experiments were performed on his body, which transformed him into a flexible creature with gigantic and mysterious powers.
During his imprisonment, he grew very close to teacher Yukimura Aguri , a teacher in class 3-E, before eventually falling under her charming and cheerful spell. Learning of her scheduled death on March 13, the rogue killer decided to escape by destroying the laboratory that held him. Unfortunately, a tentacle mine killed teacher Yukimura who was trying to stop him from flying away: she then made him promise to become a teacher in turn to pass the flame of determination to the students.
