The demon said it hoped the old man felt responsible, and Makomo , overwhelmed with emotion and without control of her movements, was quickly torn apart by the demon, left to join the ranks of the other children it had already killed.
Despite her death and thanks to the strength of her soul eager for revenge, Makomo remained to haunt the forest where Tanjiro trained, allowing him to become stronger.
