He is from Drum Island, making him the first member of theStraw Hat crewto be born on the Grand Line. He is the sixth member of the crew, and the fifth to join the crew.
While his bounty before the time skip was just 50 Berrys, it simply doubled to 100 Berrys after the Dressrosa events, making it the smallest bounty in the series. This low bounty is explained by the fact that the Navy considers him the crew's Pet. Even after the Wano Country arc events, his bounty only rose to 1,000 Berrys.
