⛩ Usopp , also named Pipo in older editions of the manga, is a member of the Straw Hat Crew, holding the position of Sharpshooter. He is from Syrup Village. Although not a Naval Carpenter, he also took care of repairing the Going Merry (filling its holes with whatever means available). He was later replaced by Franky when the latter and the Thousand Sunny joined the crew for ship maintenance.
When he was in Syrup Village, he was the Captain of a crew and was known by his crew members as Captain Usopp. He has kept this nickname, which is part of his iconic catchphrases. He disbanded the crew when he set sail and joined the Straw Hat Crew. He is the son of Yasopp, a member of the Red Hair Crew. His dream is to become a brave warrior of the seas and follow in his father's footsteps, and he believes he can die peacefully once he has achieved it. Then he will be able to say: "It's me Usopp!! The brave warrior of the seas!!".
