⛩ Ryomen Sukuna more simply called Sukuna is one of the main antagonists of Jujutsu Kaisen. Also known as the undisputed King of Curses, Sukuna was a demonic spirit, originally a real human, living in the golden age of exorcism over 1000 years ago. The exorcists of that time did everything to defeat him and his mummified body could not be completely destroyed. Now his 20 fingers, preserved in funerary wax, have traversed the ages as relics.
The cursed fingers of Ryomen Sukuna are therefore twenty relics of class S containing the fragmented power of the King of Curses.
These relics serve as a prison containing the fragmented power of Sukuna and were therefore dispersed throughout Japan, reuniting the fingers being the only way to revive Sukuna .
In the present, Sukuna has incarnated himself in Yuji Itadori because the latter ate one of his cursed fingers containing his fragmented power.
