⛩ Franky, was introduced in the story as the leader of the Franky Family, a group of ship dismantlers. He is also the first cyborg introduced in the series.
He was formerly called Cutty Flam until he got rid of his real name to replace it with his nickname at Iceburg's request so he could hide his identity. Franky and his associates were first introduced as antagonists to the Straw Hat Crew until circumstances forced them to become allies.
At the request of the Franky Family , Franky joined the Straw Hat Crew to accomplish his dream. He is the eighth member of the Straw Hat Crew and the seventh to join Luffy's crew. He is also the second member to have been a former enemy (the first being Nico Robin).
