⛩ Guts known as "The Black Swordsman" , is a former mercenary and wanderer of note who travels the world in a constant internal struggle between pursuing his own ends and maintaining his attachments to those dear to him.
Regarding his equipment, Guts fights with a gigantic sword called the Dragonslayer. It was forged by Godo, a legendary blacksmith who created this weapon for an ancient king wanting to defeat a dragon. But the blade was so immense that no warrior in the kingdom was able to wield it.
Later, Flora gives him the Berserker armor, which belonged to the Skull Knight . While this armor allows Guts to exceed human limits by no longer feeling fatigue, it is also very dangerous. It inflicts immense pain on its wearer and causes him to lose his mind.
