⛩ Naruto managed to master this mode after defeating his dark side before the Falls of Truth and separating Kyûbi's chakra from his will to make it his own, notably thanks to the help of his mother. The Fourth Hokage used the Kyûbi Chakra Mode shortly after arriving on the battlefield, followed by the three other Hokage. He mastered this technique because he took with him half of Kyûbi's chakra, thanks to the Dead Imprisonment technique, before sealing the other half in Naruto. But this mode is not without risks: during the battle against Tobi and the bijû, Naruto ran out of chakra, and was even on the verge of fainting. Kurama, throughout the battle, felt more and more attachment to his jinchûriki. He then proposed to Naruto to give him chakra "for free", without trying to take possession of his body. But the amount of chakra was not enough since Kurama could only give a small amount while he was held by the seal. He then decided, with Naruto, to knead their chakras together, freeing Kurama from the seal and strengthening his bond with Naruto. From that moment on, the "Rikudô" form of Naruto changed appearance and he was able to transform into an evolved form of the mode and execute the "Tailed Demons Orb".
