⛩ Light Yagami , known as Kira, and called L (or "Second L") after the first's death, and nicknamed L-Kira by the SPK, is a Japanese human who received a Death Note while still in school. The existence of this extraordinarily gifted Japanese high school student is forever changed the day he accidentally picks up the Death Note, a notebook that has the power to kill any person whose name is written in it. After verifying its evil power, he decides to use it to eliminate the worst criminals, convinced that he is thus contributing to the creation of a perfect world. Faced with an unprecedented wave of criminal deaths by heart attack, caused by Light Yagami who chose to sign his murders this way, world opinion concludes that there is only one assassin and nicknames him "Kira" (a word formed from the English "killer", which means "killer").
