⛩ Ken Kaneki , once a simple human, he was studying Japanese Literature in his first year at Kamii University, living a relatively normal life.
However, things changed rapidly after doctor Akihiro Kano transplanted Rize Kamishiro's RC cells into him, thus transforming him into an Artificial Ghoul.
He later joined the Antique, a cafe known to ghouls as a meeting place, as a part-time server. Thanks to the members of the Antique, Ken tried to learn to live as ghouls do and eventually adopted the nickname Eyepatch.
