⛩ Master Karin is a hermit of the Karin Tower (bearing his name). The temple of the Karin tower serves as a gateway that connects the world of humans to the Palace of God which is located above the top of the Karin tower. He possesses many artifacts throughout the manga, such as divine elixir, or Senzus.
Master Karin is the third master that Son Gokû will meet during the manga, he was the master of Muten Rôshi , several centuries before the beginning of Dragon Ball . Apparently, a few martial arts experts know him, such as Tao Pai Pai, although he thinks it is only a legend.
He keeps many rare items that will be decisive for Son Gokû and his people, such as Senzus, these beans that heal wounds, a huge cloud where Kamé Sennin acquired Kinto'un, or the Nyoi-bō staff of Son Gokû which connects the palace of Karin to that of God.
Unlike Muten Rôshi, the role of Karin although discreet because of the place where it is found will sometimes be decisive. He efficiently assesses the potential of Son Gokû and Cell . He maintains that something has been happening on Earth for a few years, this being related to the secret infiltration of Babidi on earth.
