⛩ Jinx , born Powder, is one of the main protagonists of Arcane. She is the unpredictable, ingenious and chaotic younger sister of Vi and the adoptive daughter of Silco. Throughout the series, she is troubled by the feeling of abandonment by her sister, as well as by the manipulation she faced from Silco as she tries to determine her true identity.

As a young girl, Powder was shy and sweet, but clumsy and prone to mistakes. This, combined with a case of middle child syndrome, sparked irritation from her "older brother" Mylo, who called her a jinx. She greatly admired her older sister Vi (her only biological family) and saw her as a role model and almost parental figure. Although she was not as physically capable as Vi, she was very creative and spent much of her free time making different types of inventions, mainly bombs and other small explosives.

However, they were not reliable and only became effective later in her teens. She showed how skilled she was with a firearm, beating her best friend, Ekko, and her brother, Mylo, several times. Despite her generally shy and calm nature, Powder was shown repeatedly to have extremely strong emotional reactions, particularly to the possibility of abandonment, with screaming and crying accompanied by hallucinations and self-harm behavior, something her character retains later in the series.
