⛩ Guts known as "The Black Swordsman", is a former mercenary and distinguished vagabond who travels the world in a constant internal struggle between pursuing his own ends and maintaining his attachments to those dear to him.

Represented as a tall and muscular man, Guts stands 2 meters tall with short, spiky black hair. He is missing his left forearm and right eye due to an encounter with the divine hand and is covered from head to toe with scars from a life of battles, the most notable being a jagged scar on his nose that he received from a training match with his violent father Gambino. Also worth noting is a large horizontal scar on his chest, which he received during his encounter with Slan of the Hand God in the qliphoth. After receiving the Berserker armor, Guts receives a small streak of white in his hair, likely due to the stress caused by wearing the armor. Guts ' tendency to wear black clothing while hunting apostles earned him the nickname "The Black Swordsman". Beyond all this, Guts bears a mark from the Eclipse on the right back side of his neck. This mark attracts demons and evil spirits to him at night.
