⛩ Granola is a bounty hunter who worked for the Heater . He is also the only known Cerealian survivor, a race that was wiped out by the Saiyans under Freezer's orders. He is motivated by his sole desire to defeat Freezer and the Saiyans and hopes to avenge his people.
Despite being obsessed with revenge, he still retains his humanity, such as when he begged Vegeta to fight outside the city. Toward the end of his battle against the Saiyan, the latter points out his hypocritical behavior contrary to his race which was peaceful; following these words, Granola loses his composure and prepares to sacrifice himself against Vegeta . This shows how much revenge has brought him so low that he is willing to abandon his basic principles (namely defeating Freezer) just to silence Vegeta .
However, his aversion to Saiyans will diminish when he learns that he was saved by one of them and that the true killer of his mother and exterminator of his race is none other than the one he worked for.
