⛩ Franky , whose real name is Cutty Flam , is the carpenter of the Straw Hat crew. Franky is a cyborg recruited at Water Seven and was introduced in the story as the leader of the Franky Family, a group of ship dismantlers. He is also the first cyborg introduced in the series.

He was formerly called Cutty Flam until he got rid of his real name to replace it with his nickname at the request of Icebarg to hide his identity. Franky and his associates were first presented as antagonists to the Straw Hat crew until circumstances forced them to become allies.

At the request of the Franky Family, Franky joined the Straw Hat crew to fulfill his dream. He is the eighth member of the Straw Hat crew and the seventh to join Luffy 's crew. He is also the second member to have been a former enemy (the first being Nico Robin).

While his bounty was 44,000,000 before the timeskip, it reached 94,000,000 after the events that occurred during the Dressrosa Arc and 394,000,000 after the events that occurred during the Wano Country Arc.
