He was once the king of the Kingdom of Solbay, before becoming a vicious pirate feared by all, earning the nickname "the Tyrant". He was a human who accepted being transformed into a Cyborg by Dr. Vegapunk for reasons still unknown. As soon as Vegapunk finished transforming Kuma into a Pacifista, the Pirate Captain became the first of the series, bearing the serial number PX-0. He ate the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi which allows him to repel everything through the palms of his hands.
