⛩ Akaza is a major antagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a demon affiliated with the Twelve Kizuki, occupying the position of upper rank three. Over a century ago, Akaza was a human named Hakuji before being transformed into a demon personally by Muzan Kibutsuji.
Akaza is a strong, stubborn and impulsive demon who loves to fight, particularly against strong demon slayers. He despised all those he judged as weak, but genuinely respected those who were strong in his eyes, regardless of their race. Once he has met someone he judges to be strong, he takes an interest in them and even after his death remembers his name as a tribute to his strength
The blood demon art of Akaza called Compass (Rashin), allows him to make a snowflake-shaped compass appear, allowing him to track the movements of his opponents and have a much more precise vision of their bodies as well as their vital points.
