⛩ Kisuke Urahara is the former captain of the Twelfth Division, as well as the creator and First President of the Technical Development Bureau. He currently lives in the Human World, where he was sent into exile and where he runs a small shop, " Urahara Shop", which also sells items for Shinigamis. The shop is managed by Urahara himself, as well as his employees Tessai Tsukabishi, Jinta Hanakari and Ururu Tsumugiya .

Urahara is characterized as being very mysterious, with little known about him at first. Despite the danger lurking Ichigo and his friends, he manages to keep his calm in all circumstances, even when the situation becomes critical. He has a rather singular sense of humor...

He is rarely serious and seems quite carefree, although this is actually just a façade. He is in reality extremely powerful, intelligent and insightful. He always knows much more than others.
