He is from Drum Island, making him the first member of theStraw Hat Crewto be born on the Grand Line. He is the sixth member of the crew, and the fifth to join the Crew.
While his bounty before the timeskip was just 50 Berrys, it simply doubled to 100 Berrys after the events of Dressrosa, making it the lowest bounty in the series. This low bounty is explained by the fact that the Marines consider him the pet of the crew. Even after the events of the Wano Country Arc, his bounty only rose to 1,000 Berrys.
