⛩ As the newly reformed Team 7 prepares for battle, Jûbi creates an army of monsters to defend against the attack. But Hashirama warns the Shinobi Alliance of another series of attacks from the Tailed Beast Demon Orb. Fortunately, the orb launched does not reach the barrier.

Hashirama creates five clones and four of them open the barrier to create access and allow the Shinobi Alliance to attack Jûbi. His last wood clone faces Madara, but he refuses to face him and demands the presence of the original. As the Alliance enters inside the barrier, Jûbi creates an army of monsters to defend against their attacks. Teams 8 and 10 resolve to become stronger, but, as Hashirama notes, Jûbi constantly creates larger and more powerful monsters.

Saï, for his part, decides to attack Jûbi's head from the air but quickly fails and is saved by Naruto who catches him with his Tailed Beast Chakra Arm as he was falling. Saï then asks his comrade if it is possible for him to transmit his tailed beast chakra once again to the entire alliance and in response, Naruto tells him that it is impossible since he has not yet accumulated enough chakra to do so.

This worries Saï because with their current strength they will not have time to either perform the mudras necessary for their technique or carve a path to attack Jûbi's main body. It is at this precise moment that Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura summon Gamakichi, Aoda and Katsuyu, respectively, to bring their help to the battlefield.
