⛩ Kuzan, better known as Aokiji was one of the Three Admirals of the Navy. He was previously a Vice Admiral who participated in the Buster Call of Ohara during which he saved Nico Robin . He was also a candidate for the position of Fleet Admiral, but following his defeat against Admiral Akainu at Punk Hazard who also coveted the position, he left the Navy. After the timeskip, he makes his grand return at the end of the Punk Hazard Arc by preventing Doflamingo from killing Smoker. Later, we finally learn that he decided to associate himself with Blackbeard's crew, accepting the position of commander of the 10th ship of the crew. He was able to fight his colleague Sakazuki on equal footing, and they inflicted serious wounds on each other. During this 10-day duel Aokiji is finally defeated, but demonstrates exceptional endurance.
