⛩ Aki Hayakawa is a Devil Hunter for Public Safety, and a member of the fourth special Anti-Demon division of Tokyo. He made a contract with the Curse Demon and the Future Demon , as well as a former contract with the Fox Demon .

Aki generally appears as a very stoic person. He seems mature and reliable when with his fellow Devil Hunters, but he is actually very gentle when alone. He tends to get attached to others easily and hates seeing people suffer, especially his close friends.

Unlike many of his associates, Himeno describes him as being a "normal person", in the sense that he still cries for those who have been lost and hasn't become jaded enough to shut off his feelings. Despite this, he is very determined and his primary motivation for killing the Gun Demon is revenge for his family. However, he is quite willing to risk his own life to save other people, despite his own fear of death and even at the risk of his ultimate goal.
