⛩ Mayuri Kurotsuchi is the Captain of the Second Division of the 13 Divisions. He also leads the Technical Development Bureau since Urahara's departure. Due to his position, he is a major character in Bleach.
Mayuri Kurotsuchi is a particularly cold and cruel Shinigami, viewing every being as a scientific research subject more or less worthy of interest. He still appears to be truly passionate about his research, which is expressed by undisguised enthusiasm when he finds a new subject of study or a situation where he can test the fruits of his research.
He does not hesitate to sacrifice his subordinates, and particularly mistreats his Vice-captain and "daughter" Nemu Kurotsuchi , whom he created himself and whose mistakes he cannot tolerate (because it means he failed his creation).
