⛩ Rukia Kuchiki is the Shinigami who gave Ichigo Kurosaki his Shinigami powers for the first time. She was an Officer of the 13th Division under the orders of Jūshirō Ukitake before being sentenced to death by the Soul Society for giving her powers to Ichigo, before being acquitted.
She then became part of the team responsible for protecting Karakura led by Tōshirō Hitsugaya in order to protect the Real World from the Arrancars. She then goes to save Orihime, who was kidnapped, in Hueco Mundo.
Since her training in the Royal Palace, Rukia is able to use the true power of Sode no Shirayuki . It does not consist of producing frozen air but of lowering the body temperature of its owner. Rukia had to learn to master her Reishi control to channel temperature changes at will, but also train her body to "survive" while her entire organism is literally "frozen to death".
After the war against Aizen and the Arrancars, she obtained the position of Vice-Captain of the 13th Division before becoming its Captain, 10 years after the Thousand Year Bloody War.
