The Gear 5th, Luffy's final transformation, reveals the awakening of his devil fruit which turns out to be one of the only known Mythical Zoans in the world: the Hito Hito no Mi version Sun God Nika. In order to achieve this awakening, Luffy died and came back to life as Joy Boy .
