⛩ Son Gokû makes his return to Earth while Beerus was about to destroy it. Son Gokû then asks him to grant him some time to learn more about the Super Saiyan God . To do this, he calls upon Shenron. The latter's account speaks of the legend of the Super Saiyan God which is actually a God artificially created by pure-hearted Saiyans.

Son Gokû therefore asks his sons and his comrades to help him achieve this. The first attempt failed because there were only 5 Saiyans, he needed a sixth. It was at that moment that Videl announces to Son Gohan that she is pregnant and that her baby could contribute to the transformation of Goku into Super Saiyan God, the second attempt is a success.

The physical appearance of Son Gokû had changed. His eyes and hair had become red, while his musculature had become finer and his aura undetectable.

Beerus offers him to engage in combat, and also offers to spare Earth if he is powerful enough. The two Gods fought a merciless battle, but Beerus had the advantage over his opponent. The battle continued in space, Son Gokû had already lost his Super Saiyan God stage without even realizing it, but his power level apparently did not decrease.

The two Gods exchanged blows above Earth's atmosphere, Son Gokû decides to accelerate the pace by combining his Shunkan Ido and his Kamehameha, in vain. Beerus retaliates by sending a huge fireball towards Earth.
