⛩ Gaara is a ninja from the hidden village of the Sand (Suna). He is also the youngest child of the Fourth Kazekage, the younger brother of Kankurô and Temari. He was the third jinchûriki of Shukaku, thus becoming a weapon for Suna, he acquired the nickname of " Gaara of the Desert ".

Although Gaara was a major antagonist in the Naruto manga, as the story progressed, he became one of the main protagonists. In Part II, he became the Fifth Kazekage, as well as Supreme Commander and general of the fourth division of the Shinobi Alliance during the Fourth Great Shinobi War.

Loneliness, hatred, and sadness made him who he is today. When he was younger, he considered Naruto as his rival, but he quickly became one of his best friends. Like Naruto, he possessed within him one of the nine Bijus (Tailed Demons), that of Shukaku of the Sand element. Gaara , son of sand, just like his mother and father, controls sand and gold dust.
