The Divine Super Saiyan is the form achieved by Son Goku in the film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and in the first arc of the Dragon Ball Super series. This form can be achieved through the combined powers of five pure-hearted Saiyans.
It is the God of Destruction Beerus who first mentions this transformation, upon his arrival on Earth. Goku's friends then call upon Shenron who tells them the story of the Divine Super Saiyan and explains how to make it appear. The five Saiyans, Son Gohan , Son Goten , Trunks , Vegeta and finally Pan (in the womb of her mother Videl , not yet born), transmit their aura to Son Goku , who is then surrounded by blue energy coming from them.
This transformation is characterized by purple hair with red eyes.
