⛩ Taka , formerly Hebi , is a team created by Sasuke Uchiha , whose original goal was to track down his brother, Itachi Uchiha , and prevent anyone from interfering in their confrontation.
After betraying Orochimaru , Sasuke traveled to various Oto bases to recruit the three other members: Suigetsu Hôzuki , Karin and Jûgo . Following Itachi 's death, Tobi revealed to Sasuke the role of Konoha's higher-ups in the Uchiha Clan Massacre. After learning the truth, he renamed the team Taka , whose new objective is the destruction of Konoha.
Although their team was originally a necessity, they all came to respect each other as teammates and eventually risked their lives for one another over time, reminding Sasuke of Team 7. However, as Sasuke became increasingly corrupted and obsessed with his vengeance against Konoha, he abandoned Jûgo and Suigetsu in the Land of Iron to pursue Danzô , and when Karin became a burden to him, he critically wounded her, effectively disbanding Taka.
