⛩ Rider is the Servant of Matou Shinji during the 5th Holy Grail War. She is the representative of the Rider class, and proves to be very cold, not very talkative and very vigilant regarding the protection of her Master. To compensate for the weakness of Shinji unable to provide her with mana, she is forced to resort to other means to recover it, particularly by stealing it from the inhabitants of the city. She fights with daggers at the end of very long chains and uses the environment around her to her advantage during her fights.

The true identity of Rider is Medusa , one of the three famous Gorgons of Greek mythology. Like her sisters Stheno and Euryale , she was born from humanity's desire to have perfect Goddesses, the antithesis of the imperfect Gods who reside on Mount Olympus. All three were blessed with great beauty, but unlike her sisters, Medusa is the only one who is not immortal, which will lead her to grow and age irremedially. Furthermore, she was born with the Mystical Eyes of Petrification, which turn to stone anyone who looks her in the eyes, forcing her to constantly live with a mask over her eyes.
