⛩ Osamu Dazai is a member of the Armed Detective Agency and was once one of the leaders of the Port Mafia .

Dazai is generally called lazy, in fact, Kunikida often scolds him for being unproductive and slack. Despite this, he has shown a sharp mind, deducing all situations even the most improbable ones and those almost at the same level as Ranpo . Most of the time he acts as a strategist for the Armed Detectives, Ranpo being too temperamental to take on this role.

He is a suicide maniac, often trying to commit the act in a comedic way but fails. He particularly wishes to commit suicide with a beautiful woman. The Decline of a Man is Dazai's power that allows him to nullify other powers by touching them. His ability therefore only relies on contact.

For this reason, Dazai needs a standard medical procedure or operation each time he gets injured, unlike his fellow members of the Armed Detective Agency that Yosano generally heals using her power.
