⛩ Sakura is the daughter of Tohsaka Tokiomi and Tohsaka Aoi . Born a year after Rin , she is therefore her younger sister. Both sisters have very high potential in Magic, but it is customary to teach the secrets of Magic to only one heir (often the eldest male) to preserve the family's entire Magical Seal, and other children are usually sent to adoptive families. Tokiomi desperately wants his family to reach the Origin, and thinks Sakura has too much talent to waste such potential.

When Matou Zouken offers to have Sakura adopted by Matou Byakuya, so she becomes the heir of the Matou instead of Matou Shinji and also receives Magic training, Tokiomi sees it as a blessing. He joyfully accepts Zouken's proposal.
