⛩ Hagoromo Ôtsutsuki , better known as the Sage of the Six Paths (Rikudô Sennin, literally meaning: Sage of the Six Paths) would according to legend be the man who was at the origin of the ninja world as well as the creator and first user of the ninshû, which led to the creation of the ninja world.

After the Yin half of Kurama was sealed in Naruto , the legendary sage appeared in Naruto's mind to speak with him. After the young shinobi became angry about the very philosophical language that Hagoromo was using, the latter answered the young shinobi's questions. He began to tell the story of his family to Naruto , ranging from his mother to his two sons, which led him to reveal to the latter that he was actually the reincarnation of his youngest son, Asura .

He asked Naruto if he knew who was the reincarnation of his eldest son and Naruto revealed that he knew it was Sasuke , having felt a presence in him and in Sasuke . Hagoromo told the story of previous reincarnations: Madara Uchiha for Indra and Hashirama Senju for Asura. He revealed that Madara had mixed the chakra of Asura and Indra to form his chakra, awakening to the Rinnegan .

But he became obsessed with power, seeking to get closer to Hagoromo and his mother, risking to cause the end of the world by activating the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and that Sasuke and Naruto had to stop him. The bijû appeared in Naruto , ready to lend their strength to him and Hagoromo transferred part of his powers to Naruto and Sasuke , revealing that he was entrusting the fate of the world to the two, contrary to what he had done with his sons, which had caused all the problems.
