Goku transforms into Super Saiyan 2, no longer holding back. Yet Beerus continues to dodge all his attacks. Goku urges the god to attack, to which he refuses with sarcasm. Goku foolishly thinks Beerus could not handle a Kamehameha, and continues trying and failing in hand-to-hand combat until he transforms into Super Saiyan 3 .
Beerus thinks his opponent may be hiding a bit more power, later easily dodging another rush and a Kamehameha. King Kai is devastated, as this explosion goes through his planet.
Beerus finally decides to end it and strikes Goku so hard that he sends him flying. He appears behind and strikes him violently with his shoulder, ending the fight.
